I’m so glad you’re here!

I provide trauma-informed, somatic, relational therapy in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle.

I will always strive for our sessions to hold a balance between feeling like a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and supportive place, while also ensuring that you’re able to gain insight and growth around the things that bring you here.

Therapy can be a pretty significant commitment. Sometimes it can take a bit of time before you notice big shifts, so I’ll be working collaboratively with you to make sure that your sessions are actually useful to you, every step of the way.

What modalities do you use?

My training allows our work together to get to the root of whatever is bringing you to therapy. I’m oriented toward lasting growth and healing, with the goal of creating greater ease in your day-to-day life.

Therapy at my practice is collaborative, affirming, and person-centered. This means that I will always prioritize our therapeutic alliance by actively seeking your feedback about how therapy is working for you, while creating a space where you feel free to be exactly who you are.

The therapeutic alliance is consistently one of the most predictable determinants of effective therapy. This means it’s really important that you actually feel like you enjoy working with me!

The therapy models I’m trained in are all trauma-informed, and they each emphasize the therapeutic alliance because of how significant it is to your success in therapy.

I am formally trained in:

In addition to the above modalities, I frequently draw from humanistic, person-centered, psychodynamic, and feminist/queer theories to support my therapeutic approach. Therapy at my practice is always neurodivergent-affirming, affirming of queer, transgender and nonbinary people, and is fundamentally culturally responsive and anti-oppressive.

I hold the belief that human beings are fairly limitless and inherently multifaceted. Even so, labels and categories can be quite useful when/if they help us make sense of our experiences. You do not need a diagnosis to go to, or benefit from, therapy.

I frequently work with teens and adults who are:

  • trans/nonbinary or are part of the LGBTQIA+ community

  • neurodivergent (AuDHD, ADHD, Autism, and 2E/gifted)

  • experiencing higher levels of stress, anxiety, and/or panic

  • experiencing a sense of stuckness regarding depression, grief, and/or lack of motivation

  • experiencing dissociation (including dissociative disorders) and/or those who have survived complex or relational trauma

  • wanting to explore their relationship structure, sense of sexuality, or other topics regarding physical and/or emotional intimacy

  • working in mental healthcare or related fields (ex. therapists, social workers, herbalists, nutritionists/dietitians, naturopaths, etc.)

  • high achieving individuals and/or those in high-pressure fields
